VEGAN, GLUTEN-FREE F4A APPLE TART
F4A has prepared a sweet creation for you this week!
What if VEGAN, GLUTEN-FREE and ZERO WASTE can produce a delicious result?
For this recipe, we used the ugliest apples forgotten in the fruit basket and ingredients already in the house, such as biscuits to make the dough. Of course, you can adapt the ingredients to your taste (vegan or not :-D).
Start by heating your oven at 180°.
For a tart 30cm large, you need for the dough:
330grams of biscuits (we used gluten-free choco and coconut)
110gr Ghee
Preparation of the dough:
Crush the biscuits.
Slowly melt the ghee in a pot at low fire.
Add the biscuit crumbs one fist at a time and keep on stirring at low fire.
After well mixed, spread in your tart plate and leave to cool.
How to replace the eggs?
Easy! You just need:
12cl Almond Milk
3cl Agave nectar
Whisk together the almond milk and agave nectar until it gets a smooth texture. Be careful it doesn't become too thick!
Whip this preparation with 90 grams of powder sugar.
Add a sachet of vanilla sugar.
Mix well and leave in the fridge for a few minutes.
In the meantime, peel and slice 4 medium apples or 5 small of any kind that you can find at home.
Check your dough, it should be hard and cold by now.
Place the pieces of apple all over your dough.
Spread some almond powder on top. Then spread some brown sugar as well for the caramelized effect.
Finish by pouring the almond preparation on top. Try to spread equally. Top with some dried almonds.
Bake at 180° for about 45 minutes.
Enjoy the magic!
