Who says sunshine says... Sorbet time! Sorbet is the perfect vegan substitute for Ice cream (and also better for your summer body)! All you need is ripe kiwis. This recipe is healthy and good for your wallet. It's also a perfect example of how you can use one of the cold preservation methods we talked about in our previous blog post. Instead of throwing away your ripe kiwis, freeze them, and make a delicious no-waste sorbet.

Cooking time: none

Freezing time: min 2h

Serves: 4


- 4 ripe kiwis


- 10 mint leaves

- Peanut butter


  • Peel your kiwis and chop them into pieces.

  • Put your kiwi's pieces into a freezer-safe bowl or in a sorbet mold and let them until frozen through (+/- 2h).

  • Take them out of the freezer, pulse them in a food processor or in a blender.

  • Keep pulsing until a nice creamy mixture.

  • For the gourmets among you, add mint leaves and peanut butter.

  • Serve immediately or freeze for later, in a sorbet mold.

So yummy and healthy !
